Our small business loans allow women in Uganda to work for a better future, and escape the poverty trap in which some have been caught for generations. The women repay with interest, which covers the cost of the organization. This way your donation can help women again and again to start or expand their businesses.

Many of the poor women in rural areas of Uganda have ideas for profit-making businesses. All they need is a start-up capital to turn their dreams into reality. Loans of only several hundred euros are enough for the women to have a profitable business, with a very real impact on the quality of life of their families.
Weekly repayments into your virtual account
As a microbanker you select a business plan which you believe should be realized. You donate for this individual business plan, after which we give out the loan to the client – a lady in rural Uganda. While the client builds her business, she makes weekly repayments of the loan, including interest to cover the costs of the organization. The loans are repaid in a maximum of one year, and each week you can follow ‘your’ client’s repayments. In ‘My portfolio’ you can monitor the loans you have donated for.
One donation to help women again and again
The women repay their loans in a maximum of one year, in weekly installments. Each installment (minus the interest, which is used to cover the costs of the organization) is added to your online microbanker account. With these repayments you can again support another lady to realize her business plan.
