Screen Nation Film & TV Nominations to be exclusively Announced via
Google+ Hangout; 11am, Wednesday 22nd January 2014
This year will once again see the annual Screen Nation Film & Television Awards aka ‘the black Bafta’s’ announcing its much anticipated nominations exclusively through Google+ Hangout from 10.30am onwards on Weds 22nd January, this time live from Vox Africa TV studios in London.
Using this unique format the nominations will be streamed live on the Screen Nation and Vox Africa websites, and across social media on Google+, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter pages; this exciting medium will be used alongside the social media forums to reach audiences across the globe.
Just as with last year’s historic world’s first Google Hangout awards ceremony announcement, the nominations will be read out again by special guest announcers; this year, the young award winning Vox Africa TV presenter Fernand Frimpong Jnr, charismatic actor Charles ‘Chucky’ Venn who recently starred in Eastenders and actress Letitia Hector from hit web series Venus vs. Mars.

Once announced, voting for nominees in all categories including those open to the public will take place from 12pm, 23rd January until 12am, 20th February with public voting categories accessed exclusively via the Screen Nation website.
The 9th Screen Nation Film & Television Awards, takes place on Sunday 23rd February 2014 at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, London. The star-studded ceremony will be hosted by the hilarious comedian Ali Baba aka the Godfather of Nigerian comedy who shares the stage with Caroline Chikezie, the gorgeous Hollywood based actress and newest star of the iconic 24 series starring Kiefer Sutherland.
