Oluseun Komolafe popularly known as Sean KD is more than just being a talented artist he seems to be, but he can also be seen and identified as one of the fast growing entrepreneur in the music entertainment industry, as he carries out more plans on moving his independent record label forward while initiating more bigger plans on setting up more positive organizations that will bring more better change to the entertainment industry. The young ambitious artist and entrepreneur has been working day and night running his independent record label “Oksoundz Music Factory” since its birth in 2005 which he formed in London UK before relocating to Nigeria in 2007,where he describes as his baseline.
Since the arrival of this British born Nigerian blood, he has been working hard and crafting his art daily on different projects and at the same time trying to carve a niche for himself in within the music industry. He has produced some works of various artists from the music industry in the likes of Olu Maintain, Terry G and to name a few.
He released a catalogue in 2009 titled Passion, Pain, Progress (P3) under the artist name “K-dogg” and since then, has continued in developing his music career for greater heights.
In 2010 he took out some time to establish a music production institution called “Creative Minds Music Institute” (CMMI). This young talented artist has a mission of creating a training platform where aspiring musicians and producers can learn and achieve their desired dream in the music & entertainment industry.
After much time spent in the music studio recording tracks with enough inspired songs, 2013 is a definite year to expect the final outcome and arrival of this tremendous, handsome, singer, song writer and composer. He re-brands with his new artist name Sean KD and calls himself the “Romantic Nigerian Boy” (RNB)
His new single “CONTROL MII” has been taken from the Romantic Nigeria Boy (RNB) album ready and expected to drop sometimes this year into the market. Sean KD is currently based in Lagos Nigeria, and currently running his Independent record label “OKSOUNDZ MUSIC FACTORY”
ARTIST STATEMENT:
“Am standing out of this ever crowded growing music industry, where every person claims to be a musician,
But yes of course many are called but few are chosen, but I am glad to have fallen into the category of one of those true callings”.
”I am hereby putting it down and making a statement that music is the language of the soul and the outlet of our feelings.
Am so fulfilled and I see myself blessed to be one of the Musicians that will make history.
My coming back home to Nigeria was not just my decision but it was Gods direction for me to fulfill my mission.
