The 4th Zulu African Film Academy Awards was held in The Grand Troxy Hall in Docklands London with its extravagant art deco ceiling complimented by a majestic chandelier the venue offered a luxurious ambiance fit for kings and queens.
The event commenced a tad bit late as we know most African events do but once it kicked off there were no dull moments.
The movie “Mirror boy “a Nigerian fantasy adventure drama film written & directed by Obi Emelonye, produced by Patrick Campbell and starring Genevieve Nnaji, Osita Iheme and Edward Kagutuzi., as expected bagged quite a number of awards. The film which was shot in England and The Gambia was a beautiful expression of merging African talent.
The movie “Somewhere in Africa” starring : Majid Michel, Martha Ankomah, Eddie Nartey, Roselyn Ngissah , Kofi Adjorlolo & Veteran actor David Dontoh was not short of an award and a nomination or ten..
Comedians such as AY, Elenu, Mc shakara and more graced the occasion.
