The Go-Jazz Concert is here again, the last one which took place on 26 August 2011 at the prestigious Hilton Docklands Hotel London, was a run away success. The event which hosted well over 200 people featured the likes of Yolanda Brown, Mike Aremu, and other acts.
This year, the Go-Jazz Neo-Soul, Jazz and Spoken Word concert will be taking place at the iconic Jazz Cafe, in London. Characteristically known as a venue to host modern legends, it possesses a delightful ambiance and ideal intimate setting for live music and also makes a wonderful event space.
Go-Jazz concert, which is organized by Oloja.com and OPAMan Entertainment company, is created to raise the profile of the ethnic minority jazz acts and also give opportunities to specific charity by enabling it to raise awareness and funds that will benefit their causes.
As part of the objectives of organizing the event, ticket proceeds will help support the Kirby African Community Health Initiative (K.A.C.H.I) will be providing health screenings, disease health education, and health maintenance programs for the less privileged in Nigeria, where health care is limited mainly due to economical constraints.
The event is set to hold on January 5 at 6pm at 5 Parkway, Camden Town, London NW1 7PG.
