Richard Mofe Damijo Survives horrific Car Accident

Richard Mofe Damijo (popularly known as RMD) a veteran Nigerian actor and politician. survived a horrific car accident this morning.


The accident which took place in Warri, Delta State, left his SUV damaged beyond repair. According to reports reaching us, his driver is said to be in critical condition at the hospital. The actor was rescued from his car and taken to a hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.


RMD The actor, who is also the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State is a Nigerian ambassador who is well loved and respected wthin Nigeria and beyond. Mofe-Damijo became well known for his part in a television soap opera in the late 80's called Ripples. Before then, he had a stint with Concord Newspapers and Metro Magazine as a reporter. Out of Bounds was the first film for which he received a writer/producer credit. In 2005 at the maiden edition of the African Movie Academy Awards Mofe-Damijo won the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
